  We tried to buy a house that had been taken in part exchange from Persimmon through them. We were told by our estate agent that New Home Solutions would only accept the offer if we used Persimmons mortgage and legal services and NHS would call give us a call.
  
  So when they rang, the NHS operative repeated the statement about the restriction on the acceptance of the offer, we tried to point out that this was illegal under Consumer Rights law and The Property Ombudsman's code of practice and that we were perfectly within in our rights to use our own mortgage and legal services. After a heated exchange where the agent didn't seem to care that they were braking guidelines and possibly Consumer law, she slammed the phone down on us.
  
  They, just, would not budge, even after our estate agent also tried to talk to them.
  
  We have complained to NHS and Persimmon, who said they would get their Sales Director to call NHS and would get NHS to repond. Apart from NHS's initial wishy washy response from Mr Smith, we've heard nothing. Like one previous post, it looks like they've tried to sweep it under the rug.
  
  Please, please avoid this company. They're cowboys.
